Kenwyn Jones would be a top top loan but is no Maynard replacement.
I'm fully confident we have players to step into the team.
I think our team is stronger will Bellamy as our striker anyway but we need one of mason or Etien to step up now.

We have more than enough top striking talent at the club to still blitz this league. Yes Maynard was looking sharp and was going to be a potent weapon but this is the point in us having a squad as big as this. Injuries, suspensions etc are all going to kick in over the season.
We have Mason who was one of our stand out players last season and at one point the rumours were going around that he was on his way to Arsenal. Put it this way Mason is the next big thing for the Republic of Ireland, he will be taking over Robbie Keane. Mason is a very similar player to Maynard. Both have excellent movement and draw defenders in but I have to say I think Maynard getting injured is a blessing in disguise both for us and Joe. You watch him tear this league apart this season. Liverpool (who let me remind you had the second best defence in the premiership last season) couldn't handle his movement in the Carling Cup final and he scored a brilliant goal. Everyone was going on about how he will be tearing the Championship up this season.
Watch us fly now. Mason is going to shine especially with the likes of Tommy Smith, Noone, Bellers and Whitts supplying him! Stop with the doom and gloom. I'm going to put my neck on the line here. Mason is better than Maynard, you will know what I mean soon!![]()
