Cowie on FIFA 13 is rated 71 and Whitts is 70, i know it's only by one, but still. Cowie should be roughly that same rating, but whitts should be 74 at the very minimum.

Overall ratings mean nothing. It would be better if EA just removed them and something the data editing community has been asking them to do for ages.

Where'd you here this then? If you're on about the link that was posted on here a few days ago that showed the team ratings I heard that wasn't the correct ratings. Will find out on friday as some people will be getting fifa early

It's just a game, its not real life... ratings are only ever someones opinion, and everyone had different opinions on players.

The link I posted the other day it was correct, the ultimate team web app is up and all ratings are on there, they are right, Whittingham is surprisingly 70 while Cowie is 71.

Stats will change around xmas time anyway, ernie was 74 i think with the speed badge, then he droped and lost the badge and cowie had the speed badge.

Whitts should be higher rated than half of the Premiership players but its not going to happen.

I wrote about this before so I'll just quote that to save writing it again.

Thing is with midfielders on fifa one of their main attributes that effect their overall stats are defending and stamina which Cowie has better on the game. Easy way to put it is that a defender can have all his attacking stats at 99 (which would make him better than messi) but if his defending stats are awful then he'd be rated low because his position is in defence.

But saying that we don't know what position Whittingham will play on this game, he started fifa 12 as a LM and then moved to CAM later on after updates. So if they decide he's a Central Attacking Midfielder on this game, defensive stats will be less important to his overall rating which would make his rating higher.

If you buy a EA season ticket you can play the game on the 22nd rather than the 28th. I'm debating whether to do it, if I do I might post the stats on here if anyone wants them.
