WHOS THE BIGGEST tw*t FOOTBALLER YOUVE CAME ACROSS?!

Sat Sep 08, 2012 5:43 pm

most footballers these days are so far up their own arses due to their big fat wage packets that the day of the fred keenors have long gone ... but to see the way whitts is so level headed made me think that not all players are that bad ..... on holiday i came across robert snodgrass and he was staying in the same village as me and he was first class. ... at cardiff i didnt like ross mcormack due to his arrogance outside the stadium with young kids, and i heard from a mate of mine what a tit nathan blake was while in tredegar one time, threatening to beat people up! ..... SO WHOS THE BIGGEST tw*t FOOTBALLER YOU`VE CAME ACROSS AND WHY?

Aaron Ramsey. Met him in the Players Lounge after a Wales game 3 or 4 years ago. Asked for an autograph, he looked me up and down, huffed, signed my program then shoved it into my hand and turned his back on me without saying a word. Ledley and Earnie were nice as pie when I asked for their autographs.

For us, I felt Chopra never really had time for the fans - I guess if you've got half the Geordie underworld chasing you for cash you may be careful who you spoke to though...

Adel Taraabt is one of the best I've encountered - spent absoultely ages talking to me and my boys and having photos. Tom Heaton also a pure gent who always had time for a chat.

Definitely Chopra, was looking at his phone half the time.

Adam Matthews and Tom Heaton are definitely the nicest footballers I've met

Peter Schmeichel was an arrogant git so my mate reckons. Former city players Darren Purse and Peter King are two of the nicest blokes you could wish to meet, gents the pair of them.

I,ve never met any players personally . A close mate of mine reckons , Teddy Sherringham is a right tw*t. It all started when quite a few years ago he marched in a pub in Romford, dressed in a white track suit dripping with gold. He kept saying all right to my mate , expecting him to say "oh your Teddy Sherringham" In the end my mate said . "look I know who you are now just f**k off you................ Many years later my mate is doing security on one of the premiers in London and old Teddy boy was reckoned by all the security to be the rudest celeb there. He nearly got clumped. He reckons all the girls off the soaps walk around thinking they are Hollywood stars.

In terms of city players Earnie was by far the nicest when I met him he's got loads of time for the fans Super Kev alough quite was a top bloke too. Jay Emanuel Thomas was a right arrogant tw*t who seemed to think he was god's gift. John Toshack was a right tw*t when I bumbed into him down Cardiff bay 4 or 5 years ago.Gabbidon's a top bloke also who's always good to fans especially young kids.

Mark Lawrenson. To think of what a tw*t he is on telly and he manages to keep that image up when you see him.
I asked for an autograph/photo.. didnt mind which one and he looked across and said 'No'

Adam Matthews came back for Leicester last season and spoke for ages. Heaton and Gestede are both gents.
Olofinjana was out for 25 minutes speaking to me and my mates :D :ayatollah:

the Sky TV era has turned these people into to complete egomanicacs, totally out of touch with reality. Not necessarily their fault but part of the recent obsession with celebrity culture. If you speak to media people they will tell you Souness and Gullit are two of the worst to deal with even though they are not current players. I seem to remember Paul Walsh 'largeing' it and always behaving like your archetypical cockney tw*t when I was at a club in London years ago. I know people who worked with Keys and Grey and those guys had become so far up their own arses they behaved like gods. I think there were many sligh chuckles when they fell from grace.

On a positive note the ex City players we have ended up with out here seem like gentlemen. Adrian Alston is one of the best blokes you will meet and has had plenty of time for the Bluebirds Downunder. Tony Vidmar gave us a shirt years ago too. Spencer Prior seems to always have a good word to say about City too. I think he was a bit hard done by with some fans during his time at City.

Was never a big fan of Prior mainly because the amount of stick he gave to the younger lads on the pitch if they made a mistake regardless if it was his fault

I remember my dad was trying to get my shirt signed by all the players and that Joe Ledley said for me to ask him personally. Not in an ignorant way but I remember really appreciating it as I was nervous meeting the players. Also remember Richard Langley asking if I was Joe Ledleys cousin because apparantly I looked like him. Croft was also a nice guy but cant really remember speaking to a footballer with his head up his ass. Fortunate for me I guess.

Biggest tw*t i ever met was Kelly Jones from the phonics, what a complete arrogant tw*t bag of a man.

I was working behind the bar at Morfa stadium when phonics played there and after the gig in the "celebrity" bar everyone was in there and he opened the double doors both at same time and took one big step in and stood there arms like the fonz and waited for all the people to rush him and they just looked at him. He wouldnt come fully in until he was clapped. What a cock!!

On the same evening i got chatting to Stuart cable in the pisser and he was a top bloke! right laugh, had a small willy too

When my boys have been mascots I've met a few of the city players. Most were really friendly. Nicest ones that I have were Purse, Lee, Thommo and McPhail. Parry was a bit of a tw*t as was Roger Johnson.

Was at Jacksons when most of the team was there (early 90s) Nathan Blake seemed to be reserved and spent most of the time smooching with this bird. Chris Pike was a lunatic and a great laugh.
Met Earnie a couple of times and he is a gent. Scott Young also a gent. And there is little known Francis Ford who only played for us a few times. What a cock he is   only joking he is one of the nicest blokes you could meet and he is a Friend as well :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Suprised a few have said Nathan Blake, myself and a couple of docks lads were given free tickets and a lift to CCS. To watch Cardiff v Newcastle. We sat in Ninian stand, Nathan happily spoke to hundreds. I quipped up I thought you would be over in the posh seats. He laughed and said he preferred to sit with the lads. Another occasion M .Dyes Ely bus mobbed him in the services. Chanting the fruit machine song . They were picking him up and jostling him as he joined in the song . To be honest it went on for awhile and a few less drunk of us had to rescue him . He was laughing his head off and then stayed for a lengthy photo shoot. He walked off laughing shaking his head, must of thought what a bunch of loonies :ayatollah:

Anyone who plays for Swansea.. :D
Any footballer who utters the immortal phrase "Do you know who I am "

David Webb, who used to play for Chelsea in the seventies, met him at Wimbledon Greyhound Stadium, really nice guy. Another top bloke was Joey Jones, bumped into him at Ynys Park, Ton Pentre. Mad as a hatter but great guy.
