I assumed the topic was top 10 players in the premier league at this point in time. Hazard over the last 3 games has been the best player in the league.

Joe Allen has been liverpool's best player by a country mile and has run the midfield really well. Possibly (on form) one of the best in the league at present.

Not sure on the shawcross thing though... I didn't say him.

Shawcross? Very good premier league defender. Always reliable, never seen him make a mistake and Stoke have the best defence in the Premier League by statistics so that's why he deserves a place in my top 10

Was thinking the same thing with reference to hazard and allen, marco boogers has more prem games under his belt than those two!

And don't think shawcross is a top ten player in the stoke team never mind prem!

Hazard? He failed against City and Atletico Madrid and was best against Wigan and Reading Let's see what he can do when someone like Vidic gets hold of him :L

These are my 10 from last year:
1. Yaya Toure - One of the most complete players on this planet.
2. Van Persie - Carried Arsenal into the Champions League.
3. Aguero - Such a good player, will surely be up there with the likes on Messi and Ronaldo if he continues to improve.
4. Papis Cisse - Only arrived in January but still scored more than Torres, Carroll, Suarez etc.
5. David Silva - Great first half of the season and just a typical modern Spanish player.
6. Rooney - Looked pretty sh*t but scored goals
7. Valencia - This guy is just an assisting machine!
8. Luis Suarez - Should never be placed up-front. LFC play him behind a top finisher and they'll be 4th
9. Cabaye - A smaller white version of Yaya Toure ;D
10. Dempsey - He's American and he's good at soccer... WTF!
