You've got to include Brian Clark as a city legend whatever era you watched them from. Also Andy Legg, Scott Young, Earnie, I would say Whitts is also a legend and my own personal favourite Adrian "Olly" Alston. Lets hope the current crop provide a few more by being the squad that takes us up.

Jason (Psycho) Perry Blue through and through
Tony Evans
Phil Dwyer

Will Peter Whittingham be viewed as a Cardiff legend?
I think he should. He's performed consistently for a number of years in a division at least as high as and often higher than many of those already mentioned.
His goalscoring record is excellent and he has shown a good degree of loyalty to the club. He's never pushed for a move and always said publicly that he's happy here.
Mr Whittingham - I salute you as a Cardiff City legend!

Loads of the players mentioned earlier would be on my list, too.
I would add:
Peter Sayer
Gary Bennett
Cohen Griffith
Robert Earnshaw
Michael Chopra
If I had to choose my all-time favourite CCFC player/legend, it would still be Phil Dwyer. He was one of my heroes when I first started watching the City and I can't think of any player since who has surpassed him in a number of ways. A proper legend.

Phil Dwyer
Carl Dale
Ron Healey
Gary Bennett

I can only base my opinion on the players I have seen in my lifetime. I would say...
Scott Young
Andy Legg
Jason Perry
Phil Stant
Carl Dale
Rob Earnshaw
Kevin McNaughton
I would also say Ron Stitfall because even though I never saw him play he was a family friend and was such a great bloke. I went on a football course once with him doing it as well and he was superb.
I think there are players like Danny Gabbidon, Cohen Griffiths, Nathan Blake, Peter Thorne etc who were cracking players but not quite sure they can be considered legends.

i think, if they stay with the club another few seasons (at least) and end up getting us promoted, you can add Mcnaughton and Whitts to the list of genuine Cardiff legends.

Now we really have hit rock bottom. i thought Eddie Johnson was bad enough!
I remember him scoring a tremendous own goal at home to Brizzle Rovers at Ninian Park, so we were 0-1, then we went on to win 6-1!

Yes it was a ripper of an own goal, think he scored two or three that season

It was only fair that he was hopeless, as he could then keep up the Welsh hatred of the name Jordan, stretching back as far as 1977.

PETER KING
JOE DWYER
DON MURRAY
BRIAN CLARK
GARY BELL

Seeing as we're getting a statue of the man/ legend, it would be rude not to mention Fred Keenor.
