I still can't get my head around the fact that it has happened let alone been a year. Mikey was more than a best friend to many of us, he brought us all together and gave some of us the best days of are lives. Words can't describe what a true gentleman he was. The word ledgend is over used now days, that sums Mikey up to a tea a real ledgend. Many on here would have gone on one of his trips through the years, can you remember better days out. Nothing has been the same since he has gone, football don't matter and life is duller. What a man Mikey was. We will never forget you my friend xx. Mikey dyes barmy army.
RIP Mikey

Never met him, but It's obvious from the affection in which he is spoken of on here that he was a top boy. RIP bluebird

Feels like yesterday, but strangely also feels like it was a lifetime ago, hard to accept someone with so much life and so much to live for was taken from us.
Wonder how the scumbag that took his life can face the world knowing the grief he's caused, and on that note, I wonder if he is even still in jail?

Did the promise of a thousand pound from one of our cockney friends ever happen, if it hasn't, how can he look himself in the mirror after all the promises.

I always had a lot of time for Millbank. I went on a few of their trips in the '80s and I also shared a fantastic trip with Rayer and CC to Aarhus in Denmark in 1988 for a European Cup Winners Cup match.
I was gutted when Mikey Dye was killed, not only because it was him and such a terrible way to go, but I was working with Nathalie's brother at the time, so I saw the effect it had on everyone. I've never seen anyone as heartbroken as Nathalie.
When the judge talked about the effect it had on Mytton and his family, I was furious - I don't think he mentioned Mike or his family. The sentence was far too short, in my opinion and I'm still angry about it now.
