What happened to the blue army idea?

Wed Sep 05, 2012 10:58 pm

i was just wondering what has happened to the blue army idea, thought it was a good idea to try and get an atmosphere in our ground and try and make it our own with flags, scarfs etc, and with all these song ideas recently, has anybody got any news whats happened? :ayatollah:

Very frustrating, I arranged a meeting with the interested lads and met up with Wayne Nash and Julian Jenkins at the club, and the club were totally behind the plans and were keen to help and set things up, but the lads went away to set things up and that's the last any of us have heard from them. :!:

I was enthusiastic, because I thought it was a good idea and would have helped create a good atmosphere and focal point for our fans to rally behind and step up to the mark, but we live and learn.

Whats this blue army idea about, never heard of it before?
Is it some kind of setup similar to the european "Ultras" who generally just all stay together at games (mostly behind a goal)and help create atmosphere by singing, flag waving and stuff?
Does look very impressive at times and they can get the whole ground going..........

I know this is probably a shit idea but what about a flag and shirt donation bin where fans can donate their Cardiff and Wales flags. The club could then hang these up around the stadium be it at the front of the stands on the railings or at the back hanging from the girders? They could just stay there permanently now the rugger lot have gone?

You'll probably do better in college when you learn to spell it correctly...unless you really are an art student studying collage, that is?

I'm happy to help get this going again. But we need a dedication team of boys to do it with.

Would it be too late for some of us to take over the idea and get the ball rolling again Gwyn?

I think we would need some old heads on board. Some people with experience of running such things if it's going to get off the ground.
