MATTHEW CONNOLLY

Seems to have done well so far. Even though he made his debut against Bristol City we werent expecting much from him in that game because he signed only two days before the match. However fans were expecting him to get back on track in the Wolves game and he did very well, keeping Doyle and Ebanks-Blake out of the game with Mark Hudson, so, whats your defending selection? Hudson/Connolly/Turner

It's a hard one, But going on the last game I would say keep the same team.

Impressed with Connelly.

No doubt about the first choice though of Hudson and Turner

I like Connelly, but turner had 2 clean sheets compared to Connellys 0. i know he couldn't do f**k all about the free kick, and it was whitts who fouled him too, I'm just making observations. Go with turner, or whoever is training better really.

I've heard a little whisper that the coaching staff are very excited about Connolly's potential.

It's great we have three quality centre backs. I was worried when there was talk of Darcy going without any sight of a replacement but Connolly for Blake is a cracking switch. No offence to Darcy! I would be happy with whichever pairing.

I'd like to see Turner and Connolly but it's not going to happen, Huds has the captain's armband so unless Malky is going to give that to someone else I can see Huds starting most games.

On the otherhand it's nice to be in this dilemma that we have class backups to compete for first team places!

i like turner but punting the ball up field all the time is annoying so connoly for me
