Wolfsburg have the rail seating system and it works a treat. Theres the lower tier behind the goal where 8,000 can stand. For european games the seats come down and 4,000 can sit.
The 8,000 season tickets are always sold out, the atmosphere is great (compared to the seating areas) and there is no trouble at all.
The pitch invasion argument (Dusseldorf-Berlin) has nothing to do with the standing area. Its a lot more difficult to get on the pitch in Germany than in the UK.
CCS would have over 30,000 capacity with standing areas, cheaper tickets but more of them. I pay 120€ a YEAR for a season ticket in the Bundesliga! How much does a season ticket behind the goal in the championship cost?
I rest my case.
