We need new chants for our new players

Lets be the extra man this season and get behind the team and give them a chant straight away.

Any ideas of chants so far for the following players..? Even if they're cheesy get them in here.

7) Velikonja

We have 7 players there to make chants for. As Maynard, Smith and Noone are probably going to become first team regulars maybe it is best to start with them. Come on guys, you are all intelligent buggers, lets get creative.

The old boys I stood with in the Grange end would be turning in their graves reading this thread. Back in my days chants were created on the spot and those that were good, stuck. It seems that the younger generations just as creative as we once were.

I'm sure they wouldn't be thrilled about the way you constantly mock and berate your fellow Bluebirds either. It's not really a fair test as the internet didn't exist back then so more would have been done face to face in the pub or in the ground etc etc. At least we are trying....

Speaking of which, any ideas to throw into the hat old man? Any chants about Mike Tiddy running down the wing you'd like to send our way?

Oh how very wrong you are sir. Back in my day on the terraces, in the pubs and on the away days busses and trains we had a cracking sense of camaraderie. We would Mock and Berate fellow bluebirds and they would do the same back, it was part of the being part of something big. Nowadays the youth of today are so sensitive it's a wonder I haven't had angry e mails from mothers of 30 something men who can't take it.

Get down the pub and do it face to face, it's no wonder all the pubs are closing. Too many of the younger generations are too contempt with sitting by their computers all day. I'l think of a few chants with the boys before the Leeds game don't worry. I don't expect any of you to sing them though, wouldn't want to ruin your quiet, happy clappy day.

I agree that we need to put our heads together properly and in person because ideas on the internet never really come to fruition. Look at that 'Blue Army' idea as a prime example. People were interested and excited but all the organisers were worrying about was a Facebook logo. If they had told everyone to meet in a pub one evening then it would have grown and maybe would have worked. I know you probably didn't like the idea but as 'modern football' evolves the atmospheres that were evident at great old places like Ninian Park don't exist. Football is catering toward health and safety enthusiasts, tourists and families and leaving us behind.

But that's what the people who comment on this thread and others like it hate about Cardiff City at the moment and are trying to change....
