Swings and roundabouts, fooball does that.
Besides, P/T is on their doorstep.
They can only dream of having a fanbase like ours in Penarth/Caerphilly. :ayatollah:

Do what we have done in
Maesteg set up a supporters club and keep building it, we run three buses to home games, and have 300 members from the Afan Valley, Maesteg, Ogmore and Garw Valleys.
Start with a mini bus and work up to a 52 seater, it can be done and if we get into the PL it will carry on growing.

It will happen whilst they are doing well.
They will obviously make hey whilst the proverbial sun shines.
I honestly believe if it was the other way around, (and one day it may) they would not get a look in. ;)
Football do have a habit of ups and downs though. (ask Man u, lol)
Watch this space. ;)

I know I will get abused for this but to be fair I'm glad young kids from Port Talbot are supporting their local team, as much as I love Cardiff and want us to grow I would hate it if youngsters from Caerphily, Barry, Penarth etc etc started supporting Swansea
so good on them for supporting their local team.

I feel the same about fans from Newport, would genuinely be happy for County if youngsters from Newport, Cwmbran, Pontypool etc etc started supporting County instead of us.

Its the plastics and people who support Premiership Clubs on our own doorstep we should be trying to convert, not those with clubs on their own doorstep.

Carl do run coaches away from Neath/Port Talbot but we don't do home games.
11 coaches left Neath Port Talbot for the Fa Cup (This site and pubs etc) thats not counting the cars/trains minibuses.

The club defianty needs to advertise its self more!

A few years back you would see lots of City tops in the Afan Valley and Neath and Port Talbot, but these days you rarely see them!

They could do it more all over South Wales, but to me the best advert is a winning team, thats what gets the floating supporters noticing Cardiff City. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Thanks mate.

Like I said, its the floaters, plastics and Premiership fans in and around Cardiff we need to convert never mind people on Swansea and Newport's doorstep.

Iv said it before, but 90% of people on this forum would have no time for a Man Utd fan from Oldham, a Man City fan from Stockport, an Everton fan from Tranmere etc etc but being a Cardiff fan from Newport is ok.

The so called plastics and floaters who fill Wembley are our target fans, they will come if we get to the Premiership or maybe even if we can maintain a consistant top of the league position.

They may be plastics to some, I just see them as potential season ticket holder and extra revenue for our club.

It shows the fans are there, but you need to be organise yourself, do as I suggested.

Our club does not have the money. Most clubs in fact don't.

All riddled in debt trying to climb out of a bottomless glass with slippery edges. British football is in ruins. :old:
