I'm not selling anything massive that attaches to the phone as a temp charge unit or a case!

This is simply a replacement high power battery that doesn't alter the iphone in way!

Why bother with all those cheap after market chargers and add ons that don't even provide the correct charge ampage output, which effectively over the long run is probably reducing you batteries life...... I've seen it all before!

You can buy a battery boost unit over asda for £7 plugs into the bottom and gives you about 30% more battery.

But it's charge decreases with age like most optional add ons.
This is the best thing you can do - is have a proper battery with double the capacity that works off the original charger.
. Did you know the outputs for an ipod touch and iphone are completely different and you should never charge an ipod touch with an iphone charger..... Check the plugs and read the voltage and ampage if you don't believe me

what do you do just take the back off and put the new battery in? don't understand why apple don't let you do it on your own anyway like most phones!

NO. The battery has to be unscrewed, and the ribbon connector is very delicate too. You also have to remove and watch you don't break the speaker audio cable on the 4S too. The battery is also glued down to the board so it has to be prized off carefully.

I would have taken you up on this but not much point now with I phone 5 being announced in a week. I hope that battery is a bit better.

It won't be! With all the software, new hardware etc it will probably be worse if I'm honest!

That £11.99 plug in thing sounds good in theory, but are you going to carry it around everywhere you go?

Probably not...

If you have it at home, you're likely to have a charger anyway.

If you have it at work, you're likely to have a charger, or know someone who does.

I know I wouldn't carry an additional case just to charge the phone as I wouldn't have it at the point I needed it i.e. on a night out, with mates, down the pub, on a train.

I'm not being paid to write this, but I'd glady pay the extra to get something that just ensures the battery lives longer.
