For the first time i have seen both the main betting papers have tipped us to win- go up this season,before a ball was kicked.
Along with some tv pundits,so most have got on even before the latest signings .

Yep, as it stands you'll get back £3,500 for a £1,000 bet, which is a decent return should we get promoted, whereas my stake of £100, will give me a return of £1,600, but a far smaller loss should we not get promoted!

I honestly feel its going to be very hard for us not to be in the top 3 come may,
whittingham & bothroyd alone could of got us promoted in 2010 with his match winning performances but his form dipped after christmas,
this time we have, bellamy maynard, noone, smith, and many more to compensate if he loses form

This is the safest bet of all ,going by what we have done the seasons before. A Bet that says we will be in the play-offs at worst.
YES the odds are less than the above bets,but with all the money we have spent,and the quality of players,this should be our first goal to get into the top 6 and then go for the first 2 places ( heres hoping )

You must be completely mad or you got more money than sense to risk a grand on us finishing top2! We are talking about Cardiff after all Do yorself a favour mate. If you got a spare grand to blow then go and blow it on a new tv or a weekend in amsterdam or something! If cardiff do come up trumps this season then you won't give a fuk about not putting the bet on anyway, cos youl be to busy celebrating us gaining promotion. Yor call anyway.

Your best bet is to spread bet them on Sporting Index or Spreadex.

I always do it on Cardiff. Can't bear to do the fixed odds and outlay the £1000 and have to wait 10 months for my return.

With spreadbetting as long as your credit rating isn't dire you outlay nothing. They will give you a points total they expect Cardiff to hit usually around 70pts. You then check out the previous seasons points total and this 70 is just getting into play offs. If you expect cardiff to get promoted you go over 70pts (buy or sell) at say £100 a point. If they get 85 you win £1500. The beauty is anything over 70pts starts to win you money. It's nice to go to matches when 70pts has been hit knowing every win nets you £300. Cardiff could come 3rd and you'll still win several hundred. You can trade out at any time through the year. I've done it every season for the last 5 years and one cash every time without laying out a penny!
