I know its early days and we have only seen Nooney the once, but who do you think is the best?Noone has blistering pace and can beat a player on the outside to get to the by line, while Burke seemed to have all the tricks with his feet but seemed to cut back inside more often. For me I Noone

Early days mate but noone looks promising
Mon Sep 03, 2012 6:45 pm
both are cracking players to be fair but noone is something special in my opinion, really shocked he was not first on the team sheet every week for brighton, seems to have a great attitude and hunger for the game aswell.
burke did very well at cardiff but the time was definetly right for him to move on

I was a very big fan under Burke and felt he was made a scapegoat by the Anti Daves on here. Noone made an excellent debut but it's early days yet, I seem to remember being impressed with Rudy Gestede but by f**k he's terrible.

Early days.
I'd say Noone simple for his age.
Mon Sep 03, 2012 7:02 pm
Noone judging by yesterdays game
Mon Sep 03, 2012 7:12 pm
As good as Burke is, He never really had the wow factor, This guy on the other hand.
Mon Sep 03, 2012 7:36 pm
Noone, he's younger, more direct and, most importantly. he's OURS!
Still early days of course and he will need to be consistent.
Mon Sep 03, 2012 7:38 pm
Burke had all the skills but was not direct enough. He always looked to cut back, check his
runs, try to beat a defender twice, he lacked the pace perhaps??
Noone, if his crossing improves, is going to be very special indeed. Brighton played him
on the right wing, so its hardly surprising a left footed player was not incredibly impressive
when he crossed the ball. We will play him on the left. Lets see eh?
Mon Sep 03, 2012 7:48 pm
probably too early to tell, but id say noone
Mon Sep 03, 2012 7:49 pm
Very early to judge yet. Burkey was class for us but he would often only play well for 45 mins per match. Noone looked a class act yesterday hope he can keep it up.
Mon Sep 03, 2012 7:56 pm
I like Noone because he seems like an old fashoned orthodox winger like Willie Anderson was.
Mon Sep 03, 2012 7:58 pm
Noone is much quicker than Burke, who despite some peoples views was not the most speedy. When watching Burke I found myself saying "get at him" , urging him to take his defender on, can't imagine saying that much with Noone. Not much evidence yesterday of Noone's crossing ability, once or twice maybe and a few corners but too early to judge, Burke was inconsistent in this area.
I liked Burke mainly cos. I like decent wingers and he is one, gotta feeling Noone could become a huge fans favourite, the early signs were very promising

This.
This guy by FAR talks the most sense on this message board.

Noone by a country mile !!!
Mon Sep 03, 2012 8:13 pm
far too early to tell yet, burke was consistant for us noone has played 1 game
Mon Sep 03, 2012 9:04 pm
Agree that Noone has only played one game and has to do it consistently yet. However, he would leave Burke standing in a 100m sprint and isn't out and out pace is what you want from wingers. Didn't see Noone cutting back inside or slowing things down too often yesterday as he had the confidence that he could out run his marker every time - and he did.

He was shite the last season he played for us

nah, not as good perhaps, but not shite.

He's played for Brighton you know...just because you only see players on MOTD doesn't mean everyone else is oblivious to players in the championship. He's better than Burke, faster, trickier and has a better end product.

oh god here we go
Brighton fans on here previosuly saying his end product lets him down some times.
but what do they know, when
the douch disagrees

you're just illogical..saying he's only played one game so people can't judge him.... that's just like saying man utd fans can't pass judgement on RVP unless he's played more than one game for them..
you spelt "Douche" wrong also, and that's a super original joke too!

well you are clearly the poster who was banned earlier.... how sad
mention RVP all you like, the point remains the same, comparing Burke to Noone after 1 game is too early.

Yes we've established who I am, very good, you've been saying that since last night..would you like a cookie son?
And I mentioned RVP as an example, if you're too stupid to understand what I meant by it that's your problem I guess.
