It's worse than that though, as in the ground, at least you can hear the fact it's not the normal song being sung, but on tv/radio, it just sounds like we're singing the egg song just like the Jacks -

Oh well each to their own. What songs do you class as non-boring then? Everything we sing is repetetive anyway. Firts time it had been sung at CCS so how can it be boring? Takes the piss out of our Welsh rivals aswell.Long may it carryon as far as I'm concerned. Funny as f**k.

IMO it wont be any good unless loads of people sing it. If not too many people sing it it just sounds like we're singing the proper thing, but West Ham away in the play offs it could be heard properly because so many people sung it

The West Hams couldn't hear what we were singing though, as they thought we were singing the egg song and responded with GSTQ

I think it's quality.
I sit in Ninian 117 and I heard the Canton start "and we were singing...", I was thinking to myself no no no we're not singing that egg song, but then "..you Jack bastards" followed after it thankfully. So we joined in as well. The Jacks won't like this version.

Yeah, I think it's quite embarrassing singing it. First off, as others have said, you can only hear the difference in lyrics close by. Secondly, even with the changed lyrics, who gives a shit about Swansea?

Yeah, not singing anything is better in my opinion! Or we could do the logical thing and sing songs like "You Are My Cardiff, My Only Cardiff" or even make up new songs to do with the many new players we've bought this summer maybe?

We don't sing about the Jacks all the time though.. we rarely ever do! Besides, I'm fed up with singing the saaaaame old songs over and over again, "you are my Cardiff", "greatest team in football" etc.

Its a no from me. I watched the game yesterday via the internet and couldn't believe it when the crowd started singing. It sounded exactly like the Jacks version.

From where I was in the ground yesterday. it sounded like we were adopting the stupid rugby anthem which embarrassingly is sung by the Jacks. Totally cringeworthy to hear it at our ground, Enough already!

This is an example of why Wales is going downhill, people not even caring or liking our anthems. I dont like the Jacks dont get me wrong. But atleast you can here welsh songs coming from the crowds when they play.

We need to start chanting the Welsh anthems aswell as regular chants. Wolves game was good as people started to sing them there... It would be great to reruit more welsh players too. The local talent is amazing and they r boys old enough to play senoir

As i said in another thread i thought it was hilarious,this is football we are talking about you will always get songs sung about your rivals,and all this more Welsh thing is bollocks when im down CCS all i care about is Cardiff City
