WIFI At the Stadium???

Is there any wifi networks in the stadium i can use , because my 3g signal on my iphone is shite

I'm on O2 and I can confirm the Internet signal is terrible, sometimes I get a signal before the game but no chance at half time etc etc

i get signal fine during game, at half time u have virtually no chance (im with orange)

If im checking scores i always check 5mins before half-time.

My mate (who I sit next too) uses orange, he always checks the scores for us, Orange seems to be better than o2

Yeah, I'm the same as you mate. During the match it's fine but half time and full time it's absolute wank. Even before it's pretty terrible.

I work for orange and we are currently preparing 4g ready for the release of the iphone 5! First network to have 4g.....it will be faster than your fecking home broadband!

When your 3G doesn't work knock the 3G off.

get full signal in games (on orange) but it is very slow due to the amount of people using the network in one area! but at half time you have chance of getting on the internet even if you still got 3g coverage!

When is the 5 out mate ? I've still got my 3GS .i didn't want to sign a new contract last febuary because I want the iPhone 5 as soon as it comes out

Well we expect October TBH....other than that its always tight lipped until the Apple conference in California. We've now introduced new sim only plans for customers who are waiting to upgrade to the iPhone, you can get a £21 sim only with 1000 mins, ultd txts and 1gb of net. Its a 12 month plan but if you upgrade with orange to the 5 and not elsewhere it can be upgraded whenever you want...iv'e just done it, saves me some cash in the short term for more than I was getting previous.

The speed of the WiFi is governed by Bandwith and therefore the more demand the slower the speed. Its also a case of 1st come 1st serve - So imagine 15-22,000 all wanting the same. Its going to be slow at half time cos everyone is doing the same thing....

My advice is that, when you see the clock strike 40:00 turn your phone on then. You should get on and be able to continue using it during the half time break

Don't get this at all.

I go to the stadium to watch Cardiff City FC play football.

Why would I care for the scores of Premiership teams? I don't support them.

Also, if there are other Championship games on we get told the scores over the PA system so any results that could influence our clubs position are told to us.

People using the internet at games are clearly bored of the football and should probably just stay at home so real football enthusiasts can go to the stadium and analyse the game and enjoy the beautiful game at its best.

In the grandstand we have wifi on level 3 and a separate system for level 4.
Those of us in the know also have the press wifi login and password.

Yes. There is Free Wi-Fi in the Sytner Lounge. Level 4, Grandstand.

No point telling the password though because its not very good anyway. Probably because a lot of people use it.
