Noone, Dave Bennett

For me Dave Bennett has been the most exciting winger I have ever seen at Cardiff City. Dave Bennett was worth the enterence fee alone just to be entertained by Dave and watch him play.

We have had good wingers since Dave like Gordon Owen, Jason Bowen and Chris Burke but for entertainment value I would rate Dave Bennett higher.

Noone has only played one game for us but I did feel the player offers entertainment value like Dave Bennett. Anyone else think the same.

Agree with you Magners Dave Bennett was a class act,the only 2 i have seen since then were Burkey and John Lewis.
Noone is a player who will take on defenders and give them a problem ( and we still have Bellers )

What about Cohen Griffith? On a serious note I text my mate after the game saying "I love Craig Noone!" Once or twice he overdid things when slowing things down with a simple pass and retaining possession would have been better, but I won't criticise his confidence in having a go at beating players, which he did 9 times out of 10 today! That length of the pitch run would have been an incredible goal. I seriously said to a few people on the way out that I would rather Noone on the wing to Bellamy. What a debut!

Ronnie Bird was also a good winger, just as entertaining as Bennet IMO.
Noone certainly has what it takes. Lets hope he can produce those performances every game!

Nathan Blake was a class winger too but he also played CF and LB a lot too.

Gordon Owen was my favourite, its a shame we only had him for one season....Noone reminds me of him

Agreed. It's been a long time coming, but we seem to have found someone to match him. Dave Bennett was quality, but I also liked his brother's occasional runs at the opposition - you could see the defenders thinking "oh shite, how do I stop him?!!"

If Noone can turn it on like he did yesterday for a run of games, then we are in for some very entertaining matches. Bring on Leeds, we'll stick about 6 on them!
