I have been vocal over the past 12 months about Kevin McNaughton and his inability to deliver crosses and his woeful passing, I have always applauded his defending and his never say die attitude, a trait that has made him a fans favourite but today I have to say credit where credit is due, Kevin McNaughton was absolutely superb.
I got to believe the system suited his game today, likewise it did for Whittingham also, and I hope Malky sticks with it.
On that performance I would let him do whatever he wants to the wife
Superb showing

He was brilliant.

I think both fullbacks will benefit from having someone directly infront of them.
Kev was excellent though and used the ball well.

Don't believe this, twice on one night but spot on again mate.
The system worked wonders for everyone. I hope we stick with it where possible, but we still need to work on plan's b&c for when it ain't going our way. The depth of squad will allow for this now.

Super Kev was brilliant today and i think that was down to having Smith who was very very good playing in front of him offering him real support and cover

todays performance clearly showed that the change in formation has worked wonders for the likes of Kev and Whitts! if we were playing the formation that we had against Huddersfield, Brighton and Bristol City, we would NOT have won that game so comprehensively as we did! Surely Malky will not change it back now, as this result could start us off on a rampage through the league!
Based on that performance and if we can keep up to that standard, we will smash this league without a doubt!

I thought Tommy Smith was another impact on why Super Kev played well, as he covered brilliant for him
But they were all brilliant

When Cowie is in front of him hes expected to do two roles which is difficult. With Smith infront of him he can concentrate on one thing at a time as Smith can easily cover for him

Both McNaughton and Taylor are more than good enough for us.
