If not definitely one of them
An international goalkeeper in David Marshall
then with Joe Lewis and Elliot Parish as backup.
the defence is our weakest point and i am pretty confident its more than good enough for this division anyway.
Andrew Taylor
Ben Turner
Mark Hudson
Kevin McNaughton
Matthew Connolly
Dekel Keinen
Still not a bad defence. Hudson and Turner have played superb when together and fit.
McNaughton and Taylor IMO are quality full backs.
Connolly is a quality back up and has been promoted 2-3 times in the past.
Dekel Keinen can still do a job when called upon as well if we really need him.
i just think that we need to strengthen in numbers at the back during the loan window, just maybe 1 or possibly 2 defenders.
Midfield. IMO is our strongest point.
Craig Bellamy
Jordan Mutch
Aaron Gunnarson
Peter Whittingham
Craig Noone
Philip Kiss
Don Cowie
Craig Conway
Kim Bo-Kyung
Tommy Smith
Kadeem Harris
Joe Ralls
Steve McPhail
With a selection of midfielders like that Malky must be drooling every time he looks at his team sheets.
Bellamy we all know what he is capable of on his day, but when he plays we need to still play as a team and not try and do everything through him.
Jordan Mutch has looked quality for us this season and was quality last year for Birmingham.
Gunnarson and Whittingham we know what they are capable of on their day, Whittingham also provides us with a godly left boot from dead ball situations as we seen today

.
Noone is a very good player who as we seen today can rip teams apart, time will tell if he can keep it up through the season.
Philip Kiss i think is also a very good player IMO who isn;t afraid to get stuck in and create a chance when he wants but i think chances in the league will be limited for him this season.
Cowie, Conway and Mcphail we all know what they are capable of, two of them have been here for a year now and McPhail has been here for long enough for us to know what he is all about, can ping a deadly pass when he gets the chance!
Tommy Smith hasn't played premier league for nothing and he has shown that when he played for us today, looked like a quality player!
time will tell wether Kim Bo-Kyung will be able to settle into the English game but he looks a class act as well!
Then going onto the Strikers and Forwards..
Etien Velikonja
Rob Earnshaw
Joe Mason
Rudy Gestede
Heidar Helguson
Nicky Maynard
Nathanial Jarvis.
don't really need to say anything about our strikers, they are all capable of Chipping in with the goals that we need to fire us from this division IMO!
I THINK WE HAVE A SQUAD WHICH IS STRONG ENOUGH TO NOT JUST GET PROMOTED BUT WIN THIS DIVISION

.
time will tell obviously but anyone that says our squad isn't strong enough clearly doesn't know football at all.
Whats your opinion on it all?
and if we don't have the best squad who does?
I CAN'T EVER REMEMBER SEEING THE STRENGTH IN DEPTH THAT WE HAVE THIS SEASON
