Noone and promotion

Do you lot think if you had brought Noone from us last January when you made bids for him and Maynard do you think you would have been promoted to the premiership ? Looking at your squad its seems strong now.

Realistically do you think you will go up automatically?

Looking at your squad and ours i would say we have both strong squads i still think another season for us in the championship would suite us but is promotion for you a must.

Noone and Maynard last year we would have defo gone up automatically IMO....

Noone is class, and after what I saw today yes I think we will go up automatically, so much so I just stuck £40 on it, fingers crossed, you have a decnt side yourself by the way !!!

well thats what we was missning last season a winger with pace this season we have got it and surely we got to go up

i think we wouldnt go up last season if we had them two in cos we look tired and give away easy goals,we wasnt ready to go up as new team so season in championship help us out if we keep playing as we did today we win and get fear factor in place to play us at home which we miss last season.

They were both impressive today, but no. There were better clubs with better all-round squads than us last year & the League Cup run took it's toll. West Ham murdered us in the play-offs and had also done so a few weeks earlier. It wasn't so much going forward as far as I'm concerned (although we didn't have a 15-20 goal striker like I think we have now), but our defence - and that's still the case.

But, on todays' showing, against a side that will be there or thereabouts, we look very dangerous. Our defence also benefitted from our attacking strength and new-found formation. We'll be in with a shout again this season IMO, far stronger than in previous years - and we've done well in them anyway. Can see us winning lots of games 5-4
