Kenny Rogers Roasters

Sun Sep 02, 2012 6:57 pm

Did anyone else notice these being advertised on the new electronic advertising boards along the Ninian stand?

Has Kenny now retired from country music to grow potatoes?

Or is it some new sexual perversion taking over from monkey-facing?

Kenny Rogers Roasters is a chicken restaurant that was founded by country musician Kenny Rogers and former Kentucky governor John Y. Brown, Jr., who had also owned Kentucky Fried Chicken from 1964 to 1971. The menu was originally centered on wood-fired rotisserie chicken. After closing almost all of its U.S. operations, Kenny Rogers Roasters now operates primarily in Asia.

The Skyand BBC cameras are only on the Ninian Stand side so they never film the digital signs.

The live footage for Malaysia is filmed from the Grandstand.

Was all that outside broadcast HD equipment today JUST for Malaysia? You only see that many trucks when Sky are in town.
