My matchday experience - Too many reds

Sun Sep 02, 2012 6:12 pm

Starting with the positives I thought it was a bloody brilliant performance today, worthy of a performance in the premier league for sure, Noone is a quality addition, finally adding a bit of pace to the side. No Cowie in the team which was another plus and I believe Helgusson put a good shift in for us today. Mason and Aron G were outstanding when brought on. Whitts however stole the show and I fail to see how Bellamy is better than him when he's in that sort of form, simply majestic. One player wasn't up to Mutch, but I won't say who in case of being lynched by the mob on here.

As I weaved my way through the streets and pubs of first Roath, the city center then Canton I was increasingly aware that the breed of Cardiff fan that attend home games are completely different to those that I travelled with to Northampton and those that I had grown up with. This breed of fan were as plastic as the cups we drink our ten pence cheaper pints out of during half time and about as knowledgeable as the quality of piss they serve us there.

As I took my seat I was shocked, furious, angry and even somewhat terrified at the sight of so red tops. It was like a f*cking match at Anfield in some places, shocking beyond belief. 5 minutes into the game the City still hadn't produced the good and already the plastic army began a murmour of discontent towards the players. Wolves took the lead and many of the PA began to head for the exits.

One positive has come out of today, I now find it easier to spot Plastics, jelly bones, soul sellers, since 2008 only at Wembley heads in the sands premiership at all cost fans of our club at least the red tops serve me that purpose.

Atmpshere was the worst it's ever been and I was there during the 3k at NP. We f*cking drummed up more noise than we did today. Shocking.

1948, good analysis of the match. Mutch was on the poor side.

McNaughton nneds extra time on the trainng pitch for passing. Just passing.

Well that's always been a problem but I am more than happy to keep super Kev in the starting team, he is a cracking advert for everyone with Grey hair.

Cowie was in the team and the atmosphere was better than the usual for the CCS.

Did you even go to the game? Be honest.

Yes, I went to the game. I go to all home games health permitting. Cowie came on during the second half, he did not start.

Where in that post did I say Mutch did not have a good game? Come on now, assumption is the trait of the devil Carl with a K and Boris.

I didn't assume. I just read the evidence from 2 of your threads and come to a valid conclusion.

Bluebird since 1948 wrote:Another tepid performance by him today. Fail to see how Gunnarsson isn't superior in every possible way to this man, my only guess is fans don't see the majority of what Aron does for the team as he does it with minimal fuss.

You didn't, you agreed that he didn't have a good game on another thread. Unless your opinions change from thread to thread? Or perhaps you cannot differentiate between 'Mutch' and 'much' ?

Either way he was excellent today.
