Helguson

Sun Sep 02, 2012 4:37 pm

Helguson was absolutely dead on his feet at full time, yet I don't recall him having the ball much, we scored 3 and created more but I can't remember many chances for him to score. I think he should get the underrated man of the match because he obviously ran his bollox off, pulled defenders out of position and the team got a comprehensive victory which I'm sure he played his part in.

At one point Kev had got caught up on the wing and Helguson sprinted back to cover him at RB.

Fair Play :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Helguson ran his bollocks off and he do all donkey work he would of been one on one if he was quick enough him and maynard will be good partnership when they bond together.

Didnt get on the ball too much today, but his off the ball movements are fantastic, so is touch and ability to hold up the ball. can see why he starts but I think after we were 3 up i thought maybe velikonja could have had a run

Considering he is 35 his work ethic is unbelievable. Joe can learn a lot from him :ayatollah:

Thought he was slow and looked out of place. He was the only player on the pitch who did not seem to grasp the tempo of the game and should have been subbed. :ayatollah:

Love the work ethic of the team, even remember Maynard and noone running back to make tackles.

Superb. Anyone who cant see what helguson did today needs to watch the game again, he worked his bollocks off.
