Just got home, that was class today, 1 nil down and City came back and hammered in my opinion promotion contenders Wolves.
It could of been 5-1 to City today.
Whittingham was pushed forward, Smith and Noone were excellent and Maynard will be pure class over the coming weeks.
Whitts hatrick, superb.

As to those who called for Malky's head after 3 games, he is not Dave Jones, Malky is willing to learn by his mistakes. Malky is not stubborn and is still learning his trade. He has brought together a a quality squad and when we go forward it is breath taking to watch. Defence still needs sorting, but Malky will get there, give him time.

As to the crowd just over 22,000, not good in my opinion, remember there were about 1,400 Wolves there. Weve finally got a class squad, so in my opinion if we are heading to the Premier League, it should be 25,000 plus every week.
The Premier seats were empty today, if we were in the Premier League, everyone would be sold out.

Bring on Leeds.

& I wouldn't normally find a negative after that......why oh why did Cowie come on instead of Kim bo with 15 mins to go, the side playing well, the crowd up for it, what a perfect moment to introduce a new player the crowd have been waiting to see?

Solid performance today, cant remember the last time the city had a winger like noone, runs at the box and invites a challenge which wins pens, smith wont excite fans but is very solid going forward and defending, hudson was immense, ebanks blake wanted everything played into him and hudson got in front of him without giving away free kicks everytime

We play in red, get over it don't you know its a lucky colour, I will not wear blue... but to be honest I'm not ready to wear red either

agreed, impressive performance, what a classy bench we have now. One little thing and in my view it is little, lets get behind the boys and stop the negativety regarding blue shirts There will be a time and place for that debate at the end of the season, in the meantime we are Cardiff City and I love my team whatever colour they wear. Fantastic performance today. Very much impressed with Noone, Smith and Maynard. Did, however, think Helguson needed to come off at 65 minutes. He was knackered.

Odd how Wolves had no urgency about their play as well.

So for those of us that had knocked Malky we was right to knock him. But it was still worrying when we went 3 up Malky changed it back to the side and tactics of previous games. Gone was the pace and width and going forwards there was no options and the whole team looked unbalanced again. And i will admit i was worried Wolves was going to get back in it again. But what went on before was quality and TBH i loved watching that,and if we can do more of the same the crowds will come flocking back.
But i will state now i am still not 100% convinced by Malky but that is my opinion and i am entitled to it,we will wait and see

Probably because there was no real need to book him. It was a stick on penalty but to book him for a first offence so early in the game would have been harsh.

We played 4-4-2 the whole game. When Cowie came on we just closed the game out. No need to pelt forward anymore, we still could have scored a few even after that

I was gagging to see Kim Bo come on. But Malky was spot on today. They only looked any
good coming down the right flank. Cowie shored it up. Wolves looked clueless and in my
eyes the only team that looked like scoring once we sat back was us

TBF i thought Wolves was going to be a lot better than they were.But i was suprissed they didnt press more towards the end. Had they done that we may of been in a bit of trouble. Maynard and Mutch were Knackered good substitutions and with 15 minutes left another spot on tactic to shut wolves out, we could never shut a game out! Today we did

I hoped for an exciting performance and for 70 minutes got that !
Malky decided to close the game up for last 20 minutes and even though I wanted Kim on , I will let him off this time

I replied to your thread earlier in the week saying that I expected a similar size crowd to the Huddersfield attendance but slightly higher as I expected Wolves to bring more but I thought hey were very quiet !
