MALKY BOO BOYS....

Your thoughts on that performance? Should he still go? Is he tactically inept?

One swallow doesn't make a summer, as this win doesn't get us promoted.

I watched it on the internet Annis, so did not have the luxury of seeing the "whole pitch" with player runs etc.

From what I saw I think we were a cut above Wolves, if not 2, and we were class. Scored at the right times and didn't let them play.

We both agree that judgement cannot come before 10-12 games. The point of the post was to remind the doomsayers after the Bristol debacle that Malky is the right man for the job.

I honestly believe that this is our year.....but I'll reserve the right to change my mind after 12 games

We was right to have a pop. His tactics so far was dull, disorganised and no balance. He now has the players so there can be no excusses. If we have more of today then i will stop moaning.....................Just might

Steve, I've got no problem with people having a pop after a bad perfomance. That's football.

But to call for Malky's head, and all the related drival after one defeat is ludicrous, that's my point! :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I gave him til October end , before we can do a proper analysis on his season to date, I very much like him as a person but was very critical of his tactics and style last season, and after last week I was dreading another season of that, however today was brilliant, selection, tactics, fluidity, desire and skill. Well done Malkay, spot on today, keep ramming my criticisms down my throat sir. :ayatollah:

Give him til the end of the season, if we still dont go up. Show him the door, still wouldnt be a manager with any trophys.

The main gripe is that after January, we were dire.

But lets recap:

We tried to sign Craig Noone and Marvin Sordall in January, we failed.
We were trailing, slipping down the league.

We finished the season in a play-off place.

Malky Mackay did a remarkable job with the tools available.

Look whats happening now he's been given a free rein.

Said this before. We all saw Watford destroy us with pace skill and determination.
Malky was manager then. The claims he doesnt know how to attack were ludicrous.

But nobody will ever say they were wrong

Thats because we were NOT wrong. We had every right to have a grumble at the football being served up.

You said yourself the football was dire post January.

We werent grumbling about Malky because of the first defeat of the season, we were grumbling about the hoofball, one upfront, square pegs in round holes, isolated striker crap we had seen since January, and then same again start of the season even though we had brought personell in to play otherwise.

That was addressed in the Wolves game but lets be honest should have been addressed a lot sooner.

Long may the free flowing attacking continue.
