Even though we play in the English League, as we are members of the FAW, all incoming players (and outgoing) have to received International Clearance - irrespective of the players nationality.
I have no idea whether this is the hold up but this is an extra piece of paperwork that needs to be completed - as it involves FIFA

doubtful. hasnt seemed to stop Swansea, or any other club signing from oversees

I dont think we're under the FAW anymore mate, I'm pretty sure we represent the FA.

This is true we are no longer under the FAW but the FA have been since the 2009/10 season I believe.
