Regarding Whitts and Bo Kyung in the midfield when one goes forward the other one sits to help Kiss tidy up and give us that stability in the midfield.

That's for home games. If we're away from home teams are going to attack us more so I would go with a 4-5-1 away from home and play Cowie out wide because he can come inside and cover.

If we are playing Maynard (pending signature?) then we should play helguson up with him in a 4-4-2

With Noone and Kim Bo winging, and gunnar/whitts in middle (gunnar defending/whitts attacking)

I'd give Connolly a go in McNaughton position and the other usual 3 defenders.

With a midfield as strong as ours, it screams 4-5-1! That's wot malkys been striving to achieve, at last we av the natural width to deliver it.

I hope he stops making whitts play that QB1 role.

I'd prefer Noone as an impact sub when defenders are getting tired if the games not going well etc

I honestly just think Mason is so important the way he opens up space for others, and one of the reasons why the games have seemed so compact when he doesnt play!
