our youth players

With all our signings and the strongest squad I can remember , what chance will our young players get ? Is it going to be restricted to the game against Northampton.
Any kid that gains even a bench place this year will have to be special or we have a major injury problem Two out of the Three most highly rated players are midfielders and we have so much strength there now.
Think we may start to see a lot of loan out deals

Going by that logic though surely only the best of our youths will make the bench which can only be a good thing IMO

Agree with you I am just wondering how the best will develop if they ar not thrown in the deep end I would think with tne cuurent squad if Mason was part of our youth now he may not be given the chance this year as he was last year .

That's why they have the development and U21 league set up this year.

The under 21 squad will be a big help this season, but also it should push those younger players to want to improve. Someone like Ralls for example looks a great prospect, but he has to firstly fight his way into the 18, then get on the pitch and impress.
