Club Shop is a Joke

Tue Aug 28, 2012 9:25 am

Went online this morning to buy a rucksack and lunchbox for my middle boy. Clicked on Back to School section and found what i wanted. All marked with 'Coming Soon'. School starts next week ffs. The club loses out every year through sheer incompetence. Why the hell aren't back to school things in store from last week in July. More revenue lost to our club.

Being a larger person, I went to buy a new red shirt the day before the Huddersfield game. The girls in the shop pointed out that the shirts were a bit small for the size they were marked, and said that in order to cover my 2xl frame I would probably need a 4xl shirt. They had one left - which I bought. (and if you are normally a large you may need a 2xl).

When I asked when they were getting more in, they said they weren't getting any more! I hope this isn't true, especially as it was the day before the season started and there must be loads more blokes with middle age spread like me who will by a shirt regardless.
