How many more additions do we need?

I for one don't think we need any more strikers. Everyone going on about how we need a 20 goal a season striker when we already have two here who I think are more than good enough to produce the goods.

Mason has made an impact every time he has come on so far this season and is now really pushing for a starting place in the team (I had a feeling he would be before the season started). Mason has had a year with us now and imo will finish as our top scorer this season with at least 17 goals if he starts a lot of games. We then also have Velikonja who scored 20 goals for Maribor last season. If Malky didn't think he was up to it I seriously do not think he would blow £1 million by "taking a chance" he obviously see's something in him. I think Velikonja will get at least 8 goals this season while settling into the English game.(mostly from the bench)

So lets stop moaning about how we need a "20 goal a season striker" because we already have two capable of it at the club.

I think we need one more full back and we are sorted for this year and can really kick on

One would be great, two would be perfect.

We need a new left back, new right back, another winger with pace so Cowie can be shifted inside and Bellamy, Kim, Conway and the new winger can battle for the 2 positions, plus a mobile target man like Ricardo Fuller, who has joined Charlton sadly. If Jason Roberts doesn't get in the Reading team this season we should sign him for a couple of hundred grand, this will allow us to loan Rudy out and offloading Earnie will then give us Helguson, Mason, Velikonja and the new target man competing.
