Malky's clock is ticking ....

Mon Aug 27, 2012 11:02 am

....... surely the issue is not the fact that we got well & truly whacked by the Wurzels Saturday , but the manner of the football we're playing . The lack of a coherent game plan , the lack of defensive cover . The lack of the bench being used until its an almost worthless exercise , the 4-5-1 formation when our midfield looks an absolute shambles - little width and no game maker, Peter Whittingham , because he's employed as a game -breaker when we already have Aron Gunnarsson & Jordan Mutch to occupy that role !

Surely , the issue is not that we lost Saturday , but that it was only a matter of time ( and two outstanding David Marshall performances ) before we did because we dont seem to be playing like a team thats destined for the Premier League next May , in all honesty , we seem more likely to be destined for League 1 if we continue performing as we have done !

Yes , it's only 3 games in , but for me it's been the nature of our performances that we should be concerned with not the points we've gained & dropped !

It's ludicrous to be calling for Malky's head so soon but it's also ludicrous that our performances seem to have improved little under him - He needs more time but we need to see progress & consistent performances .... and to date we have not !

The clock is ticking .......

2 weeks ago there was a lot of people on this forum predicting we were going up automatically. After the Brighton game a lot of people on the forum were praising the team for not conceding a goal in the 1st two games and picking up 4 points in the process. Now after the defeat at Bristol Shitty we have the Malky doesn't have a clue what he's doing / malky out type thread. My view is that people are going way overboard - this was our 1st league defeat in 13 games - so I do not agree with your view that Malky is a clown. :?

As a clever guy Mugsy I'm sure you'll appreciate the thread was not Bristol City specific but a little wider than that ! Just as well the X2 leatherings we took off West Ham weren't league games .
