FAO Carl Curtis

Mon Aug 27, 2012 9:37 am

Hi Carl,

Can you confirm the truth please to what we heard here yesterday in a sports bar watching the results

Was 4 City fans in the bar and one took a call from a mate who went to the game

His pal said he had to come back on your bus because he was threatened on the train on the way over because he was a staunch Blue and was threatened by the pro Red Brigade .

Very sad your own fans threatening each other if true.

Of course could be total bollocks but as you are the coach operator maybe you could clarify ?

Surely Pro Reds and not threatening their own fans ?

It's not stirring the shit as you quote it

Its asking my pal Carl from thousands of miles away if it's correct or if he has any knowledge as the coach operator.

The 4 City fans are the ones who raised it in the sports bar .

Hopefully it's total bollocks because it would be very sad if true for football in general and human life over the colour of a shirt whether it be blue threatening red and red threatening blue.

Get your own house in order i'd say. No such thing as a cockney any more. shithouse fuckers all
sold up and let Bangladesh take the East End over. Then tell anyone bored enough to listen how
"praaaaad" they are to be cockneys

"Maybe its because aaam a laaandanaaaar"

"that aaaa laaav landan taaaarn"

"Maybe its because aaam a laaandanaaaar"

"I move away from her, I cant wait to go"

"I get a fanny feeling inside of me, jas wawkin ap and daaaaaaan (Kent)

"So maybe its because aaam a laaandanaaaar, that aaaa laaav Landan taaarn (I get the tube in)

Sort your own multicultural-anything except londoner shithole in order before tellin the Welsh
they cant stick together

There's another post stating how someone in red was abused by blue - it's going to happen, until one day (no pun intended!) someone won;t realise who they are talking to and then as they say 'claret occurs' ;)

What's currently in ?

Well Arcacia is making a trend due to it's lower price factor and the recession

Oak is holding it's own although now being mixed with other timbers for construction to lower price but offer the same look

Chinese Walnut for those who like a darker look

MDF painted furniture is taking a large sector of Market share

Pine - doing the rounds in the free Ads :-)

I prefer personally the more traditional looks and colours mixed with designs of periods of history.

But each to their own of course it's a free world with a free choice .

Bangladesh and it's people are quality

Multi Culture is quality

Taffy Apple you need not to be a bigot you need to relax and enjoy the cultures of life .

Broaden your mind ---- didn't you go to the far east for employment ?

What's a Welsh Nationalist like you doing that for ?

Surely that's against your principals ? - case of good oneself but not good for another

Cheers for that because I'll be on the market for something soon.

Anyway back on topic. I have taken a total dislike to the colour red since this summer. Don't blame red, blame well you know who. I am very disappointed in the way us fans have hardly opposed this. However we are where we are and as someone who detests the shirt I feel the only real protest I can do is wear my old blue shirt at the games I go to. I am hoping, more like praying these days that others will join me. So with this in mind you can imagine how I feel when I see a City fan wearing the new colours. That to me is the biggest disappointed going.

However that does not give me the right to have a go at anyone wearing red. I will not lower myself to initial confrontation with them although if one of them asks me I will explain my stance in the hope I can convert them to throw away their red rag. Yes to a degree it winds me up seeing a City fan in red but my hopes for these lot are one day they will return to blue and thats only going to happen by being diplomatic NOT smacking them in the face.

Re: FAO Carl Curtis

Well said Bakersdale very well put

The 4 fans in the bar 3 were blue the one was red

Ironically the blue had been going for years and the younger " red" obviously not so long .

He was related to a " blue " and of different opinion - they were of different opinion but still family .

I give two of my regulars a lift back because they asked, they never said to me that they wanted a lift because they had been threatened, tbh I think being young 'lads' they went to the game on the train expecting a lively welcome from the locals, it didn't happen.

Re: FAO Carl Curtis

Mon Aug 27, 2012 10:34 am

Thanks Carl ,

Good to hear it wasn't as dramatic as it was made out to be.

Just goes to show how stories can be spun .

I'm now reading CCMB and see blues have been threatening Reds or claims to that effect anyway.

Truth be told there's nothing any of you can do about it anyway now - it's been allowed to happen and it's here .

Although personally I do understand the sentiments of the Blue side

I guess the Red side argument is about progress and football glory .

Still can't understand why owners would feel that Blue is not marketable and don't believe any owners should simply make changes to a traditional football club . But there we go .

Time to sleep - enjoy your Bank Holiday Blues, Reds and People of all cultures even the welsh version of Alf Garnett " Taffy Apple " :-)

Multi-culturism is part of what made Britain great country but as you know
that wasnt my point. Cardiff and most of Wales dont give a f**k about colour
and cultures. Cockneys are racist fuckers who DO give a f**k. So what did they
do when the Bangladeshis moved in.... left London!! in droves

Then lord it over everyone about how great London is

Me? I'm here for work. When I finish i will move back to the land of my birth
and a little apartment i've boxed off down the Bay, Why? cos i f*cking love it!!

Try harder.

Re: FAO Carl Curtis

Don't know about this particular matter, but have been to the Newcastle friendly, Huddersfield home, and Brighton and Bristol City away, and have seen no hassle at all. People wear red, blue, and casual. Have noticed, though, that some who were wearing blue previously are now wearing neutral colours, particularly around my ST seat on the corner of the Canton and Grandstand. Perhaps I'm reading too much into it.

I believe Wales should run its own affairs. Some f*cking posh cunts in London
lording over all of our lives? We have always come near the bottom of the pile.
No thanks. It does not mean I have anything against Scots. English or Irish.

I got threatened by some cocks at Doncaster away so it's nothing new. City fans have fought amongst themselves for years.
