We need a strong target man up front a la John Stead to break up play and hold the ball. Still think we are 2 quality strikers light, and would loveto see Maynard here.
Left back still a huge worry for me ( as it was last season)

Would also be nice that when we had a shooting opportunity we actually took it... rather than trying to walk the ball in all the time

I question whether MM tells the players not to shoot and to use the ball or the players are too frightened to shoot but of all the teams I watch in the Championship we seem to take the least number of shots. If you don't shoot you don't score.

A few more shots would be welcomed by all I think, lifts the crowd and gets everyone excited
shooooooooooooooooooot

Look what happened last season when Miller shot. Turned outmore of a rugby conversion that a shot on target. No wonder Malki is reluctant for us to shoot.

Huddersfield 5 shots on target
Brighton 6 shots on target
Bristol 8 shots on target
If we want a top 2 finish ?Its not good enough

I think that it is important to note you mentioned "Miller" in your post - even in practice before a game he very rarely got the ball on target - noticeably down the vale last week many of the team were shooting from distance and hitting the target

Service is more of a concern to me.

Agree Luke,
Once the players are playing in their correct positions, and we have some width and pace, we will definitely be more attacking!

Wiggy,
I honestly think we have been wanting a target man for quite a few seasons and need him more than ever now.

We'll get let down, typical Cardiff City fashion

Who is out there that is the question Annis? We are 'quality light' upfront!

We have 6 strikers on the books !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Helguson kept Bothroyd out of the QPR team last season..
IMO its just too slow and laborious, we need to speed it up a bit .

Wingers and pace needed with a prooven big target or an other to team with Helgar...One up front no good unless you have the team around.
Whitts needs to play further forward he will get you 10-15 goals but not where he is now.
