Michael owen - Class act

I think he would be A class act at southampton with ricky lambert or even at stoke with peter crouch providing he is given a chance to get his game fitness back

he stated on 5 live today that the stats can easily be twisted against him as he could have played for Man Utd for a further 70/80 games because he was fully fit and available but there were better players ahead of him in the pecking order.

Could do a job at a dirty little prem club like southampton, stoke or maybe even swansea,

somewhere fans and management would rim him out with praise

Lost all respect for the guy after he declared winning the league with United in 10/11 as the biggest achievement of his career in spite of the fact that he only played about 11 games (only two above the minimum number of games required to get a winners' medal) and scored two goals (one of which was the last goal in a 4-2 win against Blackpool on the final day).

Even last season he was tweeting his belief that he could still be a regular for them :lol: :lol:
