If I was a big betting man, I'd put my money on Paul Jewell going before long as well!

I think it's a bit unfair on him.

He's had no money and has had to watch as all of his players are sold around him.

Got to wonder why they didn't sack him on relegation if they were going to sack him this early anyway :?

Indeed.
My only thinking is it would be easier to sell all the players with him in place than take on a new manager and say we are selling all your players.

I'd have sacked him last season if I was on the Ipswich board. He had a lot of money last summer and did f-all with it.

How are things going with Lee Clark?

From the outside looking in it doesn't look good.

Personally I thought Lee Clark was the wrong man for the job and felt that Brum had overachieved a bit last season under Chris Hughton.

early days luke so i,m not ready to sack him yet but needs to improve.on paper our squad is good so it,s about putting a team out in the right order.we play 442.451 or variations of it would suit us better.not enough energy either.badly missing fahey tbh.it could be argued last yr if we had no euro adventure we would/should have gone up.the squad was still decent despite the sales.a catering kid told me lee clark has scrapped the meals before home games.the players now do there own at home before a game.doesn,t seem much but if a player don,t eat right before the game then his energy level will be poor.time will tell but a bit like you.we expect to be there or there abouts so if the poor performances continue plus a lack of points i can see him getting the bullet before xmas.one saving grace for him is we might not have the dollar to pay the compo  i,m not panicing yet though
