Do fans know what they are talking about

When you read the football forums you read many fans talking about what is wrong with the style of football we are playing and how we could improve the latest is
- need more pace
- need more width
- better defensive cover
- don't rely on 4,5,1

And a few more others Now sometimes people thoughts are way out and just plain daft , but the majority I read are sensible and sometimes I get feed up with so called football managers and player thinking the fans don't know the game .
Lets face it most football fans have played the game ( maybe not to any high level) and in some circumstances watch hundreds if not thousands of matches while observing many styles of plays and formations.

Therefore I am of he opinion that fans are well placed to judge what changes need to be made and are not just ignorant to what professional football is all about, just because we have not played at that level. However the manager needs to do what they think is right and results will be their judge especially when they have a decent squad which I believe with the exception of a few players.

certai mangers feel comfortable with a certain system and dont like to make changes as they are not sure how to implement it.

i.e. sam allardyce plays 4-4-2 as does dj, continental managers play different with 4-3-2-1 or similar. defensive managers like malky line up with 4-5-1.

the formation isnt always accountable in my opinion, its how you tell the team to play in the formation and the players you use.

fans talked about these points last season, so to see the rebranding go ahead, Player investment? (still need more players)
promise to have a go for prem football ..so the fans do know what we are talking about, its clear to see at the moment unless MM changes tact/formation & brings in pace We will struggle for play offs, As annis said Mr Tan wants top 2 finish so something have to change..
