It was annoying when I popped to Canton the other week (non Match day), only had to pop to a shop quickly and the car park was rammed except for all the disabled spaces, must have been about 6 of them empty

Personally I think if all spaces are full you should be allowed in them.

Dear dear me, the selfishness from that post is insane. In an ideal world that would work but by f**k give some cunts (Under 30s generally) they take a f*cking mile.

I'd stop giving blue badges to every Tom, Dick and Mohammed (Usually the latter), I see far too many cars on my travels with blue badges only for occupant to be fully abled.

I know it'd be unworkable in practice but it would be nice if it was possible.

With respect, how do you know what is wrong with each individual you see using a Blue Badge?

Without doubt the system is abused but in the absence of proper policing who are any of us to make bold claims such as yours?

My own wife is disabled and needs her space for its added width to enable wheelchair use. I see that as 'reasonable' under the circumstances and who are these 'other' drivers to say that just because it's empty now it won't be needed in a minute or two by some more deserving person?

I would never dream of parking in such a space when she is not with me. To me it is immoral

Problem is that it is not 'policed' properly and the worst culprits are the big supermarket chains who will 'attempt' to fine people for parking in their 'normal' spaces on a matchday but do nothing about the feckless that park in their disabled bays at all other times

To be honest, I think that 1 in 10 is a lower figure than the reality  :ayatollah:

Apologies, however I do suspect some people aren't as moral as you in regards to parking in disabled bays when a disabled person isn't currently with them. I rarely drive nowadays but I never parked in disabled bays. I do feel though that in some supermarkets too much room is given to disabled bays but that is a minor complaint.

Thank you. I actually agree with the Supermarket point but a bigger issue is that too many people (and not just young 'uns) simply do not care for anything outside their own heads anymore and that is a crying shame :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
