Shame. I'm always keen on local boys playing for us. It's a pity that Blake wasn't given the opportunities that Ledley was given, for instance.

I wish Darcy all the very best, a great signing for Palarce IMO
Always sad to see homegrown players going from here.

i wish him the best but hes lucky hes still a pro as he is so unproffesional and thats clearly why we let him go

Joe Ledley was courted by Premiership clubs and now plays Champions League football. Darcy Blake had a spell at Plymouth and now signs for Championship relegation favourites. That says it all. Shame it didn't work out for him here but perhaps now he will be away from the New Tredegar Massive, he may progress.
