Have i missed something? What's with all the Australia flags around Cardiff Castle today?

And a black Land Rover Sports just drove past with registration number 5 AU......who that?

I think its something to do with the paralympics, the swimming team were training in the international pool down the bay last week

I saw a bloke running by the Taff on Friday evening with one of those "blades" on one of his legs, like Oscar Pistorius wears. I don't know what country he was from, but I think there's a few countries based in Cardiff for their build up. Some great facilities in the capital now for all sorts of sports. Great to see.

Met some of Wales' representatives in Team GB at a Disabilty Sport Wales do recently. Cannot talk highly enough of there commitment, determination, effort and good spirit. 2nd is not good enough for any of them! Genuinely inspirational.....not just a media type phrase. Malky should take his highly paid, often short of effort team to Sophia Gardens and partner them up with these guys. Once they realise how lucky they are, they might switch over to their commitment and effort......and then see us fly!

Not picking on the boys, just saying they could easily draw inspiration from the Para team in Cardiff.

I know one of the senior management team at the Hilton....it's a globally discounted thing. They gain by association.
