As Craig said, he was a real handful when he was in this league with QPR in 2011.
Will cause problems for defences, and if he can carry players with him then it will leave space for the likes of Helguson, Bellamy and Whittingham.
Happy with this signing, expect he will take up the number 23 from Blake

Cant really remember him as a player but my mate says hes an intelligent forward who 'plays the right balls' for fellow strikers - not prolific himself but a master assister so to speak

That's right mate. Not a selfish player at all, works hard for the team and always trying to find the gaps

Could be the spark that Bellamy needs then and another outlet if Whitts is being marked out of the game.
Comes in for Cowie id presume......but what about Kim Bo.....??

Big competition for places in midfield!
Assuming Kim and Smith are available for debuts against Wolves, I'd go for.
Marshall
Connolly Hudson Turner Taylor
Kim Whitts Gunnarsson Smith
Bellamy Helguson/New striker

Looks strong mate. Think this would give our creative midfielders more time on ball as if their midfield/forwards push up on them it will leave too many baps at the back for CB39 to make use of
