Tommy Smith is a good player but not what we need right now. I can't really see where he is going to fit in and improve us. Although we have made some good signings this summer I'm a bit worried that none of them have really addressed the obvious problems we had last year.

Tommy Smith always gave us headaches whoever he played for. He might be 32 now but his football brain and intelligence could prove vital for us. He's not going to play everyweek but there isn't one championship club that wouldn't mind a Tommy Smith as back up in this division

I dont get it, we off load one 32 year old striker and recruit another 2. Including Earnie we must have the oldest frontline going.

I honestly think that this is a really good signing for city. He is a good attacking player who has experience in getting promotion and playing at the highest level and also can play in many different positions

I'm scratching my head on this signing . As some of already said their appears to be a reluctancy on his part to sign and we appear to have plenty of cover in midfield on our side.
If we continue to play one up front we going to need more forwards as they are going to be run into the ground by chrimbo
