Don't get me wrong, being promoted has raised the Swans profile all over the place, given us financial stability and allowed us to develop the club. Last season holds many great memories, but as a competitive league, you can't beat the championship.
Overpriced, overhyped, glossy, soulless stadiums in a league where finishing outside the bottom three is an achievement and you get the patronising pat on the back "ooh, haven't they done well!"
Or a league where as the last few seasons have proved, anyone is in with a fighting chance?

good post to be fair.
for the last four seasons we have been fighting at the top of the league, its exciting, although ultimately ended badly (cup runs aside)
compare that with stoke. who have been massively mid table for the same amount of time. Nowhere near good enough to break upwards, too good to go down, it must be quite dull knowing your not going to achieve anything in a season.

I remember seeing Birmingham fans being interviewed after they were relegated, not a single one of them would've swapped their Carling Cup win to stay up.

Good posts by both of you.
As for the Brum fans, I can see their point. They had a European adventure (the first time in I don't know how long - if ever) and then they could look forward to the excitement of the Championship again.
