City heads in the North West?

Sun Aug 19, 2012 1:36 pm

Just seen a fellow exile trying to find out if there were any 'of his own' living around his area to travel to games with...so I thought I do the same too.

Im looking to up my away game mileage this season and having another local..ish City exile to travel with me would make it a lot more enjoyable...ive already taken all my mates from the wirral/liverpool etc... buts its just an experience for them, they aren't one of us.

I know the majority of posters on here but there must be one fooking member, even ones that don't post who live SOMEWHERE in the North West....or do I fly the BLUE flag alone.

I thank you.

I live in Congleton, Cheshire and travel to most games around North West and Midlands eg Blackpool, Burnley, Hull, Forest, Leicester, Derby. Obviously got Bolton and Blackburn Wolves Sheffield Wed and Huddersfied this year as well. Really glad Southampton, Reading and West Ham went up travelling wise ha ha ha ha. Missed Middlesboro, Birmigham, Ipswich, Barnsley, Peterboro and Leeds last season unfortunately but I am hopeing to go to some of those this season.

I live about 5 to 10 minutes off Junction 17 or 18. Has possibilities I think

Well I live in Prenton, Wirral...although a Cheshire postcode for some reason. You are ideally situated it must be said. I want Premiership football for mainly travel reasons as it will be sooo much better! Do you mainly drive to games or train it?

I drive as it is so much quicker. If you are up for it, if you drive, I can make my way to a car park literally just of junction 17 Sandbach for any games south of Congleton and for any Northern games I could pick you up somewhere on the way North. Any midland games I go via Stoke and the A50
