It was mentioned last season but was again blatantly obvious on Friday against Huddersfield. The away teams who come to CCS shoot on sight and that was evident with the shots Norwood in particular had on Friday bringing some decent saves from Marshall.
When we go down the other end it seems that no player wants to have a pop at goal. If you don't try you don't score. There could be a deflection, anything could happen. We seem more intent with sideway passes trying to walk the ball into the net. I wish MM would encourage the players to have a few more shots at goal. Gunnar/Whitts have an occasional shots but lets give it a go. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
