So glad I changed my season ticket

Sat Aug 18, 2012 4:26 pm

I used to sit 5 rows from the front in Ninian stand block 113 for last 2 seasons.

However this season 6 of us moved to canton stand 2 rows from back.

Yes further from the action but a much better atmosphere. People on their feet througout chanting and giving it noise. Loved it.

Didn't hear a thing from where I was sat. The chanters need to chant louder and longer.

Agreed mate. Thing is I thought it was noisy enough as where we were sat previously there was never any signing.

Saying that cos we didn't Start with the bang people thought we would or should have done, it did quieten us down.

Hopefully when we put more wins together and start doing it in style (hopefully), things should start getting louder.....hopefully.

I've moved around the stadium and the sound doesn't travel well, unless the chants are from four sides it is just lost.

Can you change your seat after 1 game? Hoping to do so.

Yep. Just go to the ticket office and tell them where you'd like to sit/stand and they will say if that seat is free. :ayatollah:

I Changed seats last season twice to be closer to my friends. However if the seat is more expensive you will have to pay the difference, in my case at the time I went to a cheaper seat and had a refund on the difference.

ive kept the same seats since moving to the CCS, it was surrounded by a few really nice guys, and a couple of wankers. slowly over the couple of years the wankers have increased and the nice guys have passed on, moved, and not re-newed. replaced by a couple of proper arseholes this season, who have sat in close proximity in previous seasons, now in the seat right next to me.

were moving asap.

Agreed dando - like I said glad I'm in the canton :ayatollah:

David - 6 of us moved for a better match day atmos. It really is easy to swap seats. Bet going down the ticket office and just ask where else is available. Another reason we moved was we were sat close to the exit, which is great to get to the bar quickly, but a nightmare when people start leaving with about 10 mins left, then if something exciting seems to happen they end up standing where they are to watch the rest of the action. It's nearly kicked off a couple of times.

I think it needs stewards on the exits before final whistle making sure people are moving on if they are going. Thing is te stewards are at front by pitch when this happens.

The Canton's meant to be the 'singing section', yet most of the time it seems to be dead. Someone needs to sort it out because I can't hear anything over there from where I sit in the Ninian.

Same here mate, The 1st 10 mins was good, some good loud chanting going on. Then there wasn't much there. :(

Exactly Wayne. I've done a couple of games in the Canton and the atmosphere can be like NP in the good old days. However when I go back to my ST seat, family stand, the Canton may as well not be there.
