Cardiff City, the one and only...

I predicted a 1-1 draw for Cardiff v Huddersfield and not because I felt negative but it always seems that opening day results go in favour of those just promoted.

I posted the other day that the teams that come down generally seem to struggle opening day and those that come up do well.
I guess the teams just promoted come with confidence and those just relegated have lack confidence or some times have a bit of arrogance.
Its seems yesterday and todays results are not different

Just promoted
Brimingham 1 Charlton 1
Derby 2 Sheffield Wednesday 2

Just relagated
Leeds 1 Wolves 0
Ipswhich 1 Blackburn 1
Burnley 2 Bolton 0

The only team to go against the grain with a win was our beloved CARDIFF CITY
A poor performance that needs improving massively but an excellent win

I'm sure some will still find something to moan about - yeah we did not play well but we won - and it's game like that which can make the difference

Puts last nights win into perspective. It's going to be a long hard slog again this season, not sure my nerves will cope
