Personally I want us to win games and if that gets promotion so be it. I'm not bothered about the prem if we can't compete in it. Can't see the enjoyment of playing the top sides each week simply to get beat.

Personally I like seeing Cardiff win games and would like to see them playing good football. So I'd happily watch them in league 2 or league 1 if we were competitive and close to the top. Don't think I could take too many seasons of getting hammered week in week out and just turning up and parking 11 men in front of our goal. Would love to go up but would hate to end up having a season like derby county had last time they were there. The difference between top 10 championship and bottom 10 in premiership isn't that big so anyone in top 10 championship should feel that they could be a mid table premiership club if they go about things the right way and have a bit of luck.

Agree with most of what you said there, about wanting to see your club winning, actually. No matter which league you are in, a goal is a goal, and we enjoy it just as much.
But Championship to Premier League is quite a big step. I think last season was the first when all three promoted sides stayed in the Premiership, even if QPR only just avoided the drop on the last day.

Many of the fans want Premiership football too much in my eyes, many of our lets say, newer fans are yet to realise that following a club isn't all about getting to the premiership which is a real shame.
Not like that back in my day, oh no
