Malky Mackay.....

Sat Aug 18, 2012 1:13 pm

We won't get promoted with his brand of football, if the shit on a stick football served up last night is his footballing "ethos" then he can f*cking keep it !!

I'm not going through another season of watching our 2 centre backs hoofing 60 yard diagonal passes straight to the opposition midfield, why bother using wing backs if they never receive the ball. I lost count of how many times McNaughton and Taylor were in space but the ball was just lumped 60 yards to Bellamy and Helguson , both of them were always outnumbered and out-muscled. Seeing Bellamy playing so deep was just gutting to watch!.

Sorry but 4-1-4-1 (4-5-1) or whatever the f**k this shit formation is really needs addressing. Why not just be done with it and play Whittingham as a CB next to Hudson and Turner, that's where he spent most of last night anyway. We are basically playing a narrow 5-4-1 formation, nothing being offered out wide and golden boy Don Cowie getting a spot over Craig Conway who has had a great pre-season.

Malky needs to take a long hard f*cking look at what's going on, get his coaches to teach Hudson and Turner how to pass a football instead of hoofing it, and for f**k sake sort out the damn movement of the team, there is more movement in a house brick.

I'm not going to hold my breath though.

Football is no worse than under DJ where the tactics were either

Hoof

or

get it wide as possible.

A main problem is we don't have a very good defence so we need that sorted before we can build a more attacking team. I really believe that MM's favoured line up is a 4-4-2 though where Whitts fits into that I don't know, LW with Bellamy up top maybe?

Someone who sees it as it is. Everyone said Jones had no plan b malky as a shit plan a. I hoped it would change this year but obviously not. Sets out is team not to lose. Hasn't got a clue.

Some good points made. Also MM' s unwillingness to change things sooner when things are not working out. We do not seem to change formation and if subs are made they are generally in the last 12/13 mins of a match when the clock has nearly ticked down.

Calling for a manager to go before he's been in the job 15 months.

No wonder they thought f**k it rebrand the club with fans like you lot what difference does it make? No patience, no loyalty.

One thing I do have to question about him.

He's spent all this money on players that are good with the ball at their feet yet plays the long ball.

I couldn't care less if that's the tactic he wants to use but if it is why did he waste his time on 5ft10 strikers and not buy some big bullying centre forwards? Just doesn't make sense to me.

never called for him to go, though I thought we were very lucky last night, just throwing into the ring speculation I have heard from a source should we not be top 2 in 2 months time.

Good post, worrying if this is how he intends us to play this season, despite having more options he stills plays centre midfielders out wide.

Great post,i dont like his idea of playing the lone striker thats why it didnt work out for Miller last season, and totally agree about Turner hoofing it,its great when it comes off but thats not very often - IN MALKY WE TRUST -im not so sure :( :( :(

Playing 4 5 1 at home is totally unacceptable we set up like the away team and in my opinion as a negative effect on the atmosphere because it's so boring to watch and doesn't get the crowd going,
We will play better teams than Huddersfield this season who will punish us for playing like that last nite, we have brought in qaulity footballers in pre-season and Malky now needs to change the way we play or I think we will be looking for a new manager come Christmas
I believe we have got the best squad ever at the CCS we don't need to be like last season if it's all about change @ CCS this season then 1 major change as been overlooked TACTICS!!!!!
The honeymoon is over Malky it's time to produce the goods!
