HEARD A WISE MAN ONCE SAY

That a football fan is prepared to travel any distance and come home happy as long as their team dosen't get beat,even the most boring 0-0 will do,but a rugger fan would rather see their team lose and be entertained, than win and not be.Football to me[and that means CCFC ] was never about anything other than winning.If i think back to some of the most entertaining games i've ever seen the City play in i think of two in particular one was the European Cup winners cup semi against SV Hamburg and the other was a game against Middlesboro both games played in the late sixties,and thinking back almost fifty years later[know that the pain as almost gone]fantastic games of football,trouble is we lost both.So on to last night,and what was a very poor performance and sadly lacking in entertainment,,but never the less a winning start to a new season and therefore for me all that matters,if you feel differently maybe you are watching the wrong sport.

think whilst we played crap got to remember hfield did most match keep 11 behind ball that is hard to play pretty footy against! also we did have 8 players away half the week how can you prepare game properly! need bit prospective on things! will get better need time
