Not the best performance we'll see this season and we'll probably play better and lose during the course of the season.
It was 3 points though......lets take them and move on to the next game.
Yes, the long ball from Turner and Hudson was frustrating at times. More a result of there being a lack of movement from those ahead of them/the forwards being well marked than a planned tactic. Who seriously thinks that Malky's instructions to the guys are "right, get it to Turner and Hudson and let them hoof it !?!?"
Positives for me were obviously Marshall's performance and it was nice to see plenty of options on the bench. We still have Kim Bo to come into the side and, according to other threads, maybe 2 or 3 others will be added to the squad during the course of this week.
I also feel that Malky doesn't yet know his best side or his best formation. It may well be 4 - 5 games in before things start to settle down in terms of personnel and formation.
So lets take the three points and move on.
As an aside, just watched the Sky highlights and I could have sworn their commentator was calling Kiss......."Quiche" !!!
