He will say what he wants now hes gone, when he was asked before on twatter what did he think about it he said it had nothing to do with him and he just gets on with the football. We all know players think what most would fans would be feeling about it but they will go along with the club telling them what to say in the media, thats how it works being employed

Yes he and Helguson had a good battle last night.

The other lad lynch looked pretty composed as well. Probably the most comfortable on the ball of the 4 CHs on the pitch.

Gerrard showed his abject lack of pace and poor judgement when Kiss burnt him off after giving him 2-3 yards start. Kiss is hardly Usain Bolt.

I always applaud ex players but I am glad that Gerrard got booed last night as it was nothing more than he deserved after his antics here. He was lucky it wasn't red after about a minute on the pitch as the ref probably took into account the conditions but hepole axed Kiss with a very wild challenge.

Yeah, whatever you think of Gerrard, I think he's too selfish to want to throw a penalty. I think he would have much rather enjoyed the bragging rights of actually winning the cup himself.

He had some exchange of smirks and abuse with a fan in the Canton Stand which shows he was listening to what the crowd were saying. It's the reason he'll never make it higher than an average Championship defender because he doesn't have the head for it. Loved how he got out paced by Kiss. A sign of things to come for Huddersfield fans... watching Gerrard get beaten to the ball by every player.

He is just a typical overpaid footballer who thinks he is above his station. Thought he was ok when he was here. He never threw the penalty , but I think he just walked up without it being clear who was going to take a penalty. He wanted to be the hero. You can applaud him for that or slate him. As for twitter it's for twits. However I will say his gesture to Mikey was class

i liked him for us, didn't understand the booing, i also find him funny on twitter, he gets far more abuse than he gives and his responses are usually pretty funny.

When Gerrard was warming up and ran down by me I shouted "Gerrard! You're finished!" Gerrard then turned around and said something, I'm not sure if it was in response to my comment, but it was a coincidence with the timing and I'm wondering if he reacted!

We shouldn't give two monkeys what that horrible little scrote has to say. His attitude stinks, and we are well shot of him. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
